Extension | Alteration

The requirement was to ease the tight ground floor footprint of this house located within a relatively newer development. Within the extended space was to be a contemporary kitchen, family room and separate utility.  In order to work with an otherwise deep plan, the glazed ended extension was set in on the side and rear of the ground floor to enable some covered external space while retaining a light, bright interior with the added benefit of a roof light.
