Extension | Alteration 

The brief was to alter and extend a garden flat in a terrace arrangement. A sketch showed that any potential extension would be a small triangular space - left over after ensuring that light angles were respected on both sides. Following our advice to consult the adjacent neighbour, an opportunity opened to extend both garden flats in a mirrored fashion, and by that it was possible to create the maximum depth on the shared wall creating a  wider opening to the garden and a greater internal footprint.
