This is an existing 4-bed detached family home within the Bournville Village Trust. Currently awaiting statutory permissions, this project began with the primary purpose of extending the Kitchen - to create a larger, more functional Kitchen / Family dining space, and separate Utility. A large glazed opening to the width of the Kitchen helped connect it with the beautiful rear garden, shaded by a mature Oak tree. The proposals also include the enlargement of two smaller (existing) Bedrooms on the first floor and conversion of the existing Loft space to provide a small Bedroom suite to one side and Hobby room to the other. The proposed alteration of the existing garage includes a new pitched roof within which is potential for the creation of a (habitable) room.
